Who lives here: Yogish and Mamatha
Location: Bengaluru
Apartment: Century Ethos
Yogish and Mamatha wanted a large and comfortable home where they could host their family and friends for their Century Ethos Apartment Interior in Bengaluru. The clients were focused on creating an open floor plan that housed both the dining room and kitchen. With this brief, our team of interior designers started working on a space that would be the perfect balance between contemporary, functional, and everyday comfort.
As one enters through the long passage, they are greeted by the drawing room. On the left is the family living room, which is the most interesting part of the house, according to our interior designer in Bengaluru. This living space sets the mood for the rest of the house.
The layout of the house was reworked to create a free-flowing open plan. The project was completed in 2025, and the full design and installation process took less than 2 months. At the center of the home is the open-plan living room. The dining room and kitchen have been punched out from the living room. The furniture chosen for this home has straight lines and soft edges. The material palette was kept neutral in tonality. The apartment has glass walls on one side, offering a panoramic view of the city and neighborhood, which our designers wanted to make the most of. This also results in a sense of space and light well beyond the actual size of the room. We used full-height green curtains for the living room, allowing natural light to soften while maintaining privacy.
The table and chairs in the dining room are designed in a contemporary setup with elegance and are complemented by warm lighting and finishes. Every detail of this Century Ethos Apartment Interior in Bengaluru has been crafted to enhance comfort and visual harmony.
The kitchen, situated on one side of the dining room, has a dark and neutral palette. It contrasts with the living area. The kitchen also has a breakfast counter with two stools. It is a practical layout that ensures ample storage and efficient movement. The storage cabinets are equipped with a soft-close mechanism and have premium finishes. Since the homeowner loves cooking, it is designed with well-defined work zones and integrated appliances.
Each bedroom in this home interior is designed with a distinct personality and unified design language. The master bedroom is dominated by a white shell and green-woody furnishings. The wardrobe near the bed features a green laminate and sleek round handles. The choice of materials, lighting placement, and storage solutions ensures aesthetics without compromising on comfort.
The second bedroom features a neutral palette that the designers designed in a way that would remain relevant throughout the years. This bedroom is a cozy haven boasting a subtle yet elegant color palette and a lush headboard. From flooring to cabinetry, the focus remains on quality craftsmanship and distinct personality.
A minimalist spirit carries through the guest bedroom. The guest bedroom has a headboard with wallpaper behind the bed. This space is a strong example of how balanced propositions and a calming palette can turn a space into a true retreat.
