Modern Home Interiors with a Contemporary Kitchen and Elegant Living Spaces in Bengaluru

A home is where every space feels connected,functional and beautiful. This recently completed D’LIFE project at Bengaluru brings these elements together, with a balanced combination of warm, neutral and contemporary furniture.

The client wanted clear contemporary and calm interiors. And so it followed. The interiors of this home in Bengaluru combine understated elegance with practical designs. The space is welcoming, visually cohesive and perfectly suited for modern living.

As you go through the home, the living room impresses us with its voluminous space. The family loves socialising, and we have designed the space to provide ample seating with the right space for hosting friends and family.

All the furniture pieces in the house are custom-made and as per the requirements of the homeowners. The walls in the living room feature a light, textured finish. We have added a low-profile black cabinet under the television. This provided a visual ground. Floating shelves above provide space for decorative accessories. Floor-length curtains in warm golden-beige bring elegance to the room.

We have added a L-shaped sofa in neutral upholstery. This provides ample seating for the family. Visually connecting the sofa to the rest of the space is the area rug. Together, these create a finished appearance for the home without having to put on unnecessary ornamentation.

Comfortable Living

On the other end of the living room lies the open dining area. The adjoining dining area has a custom six-seater dining table and matching set of chairs. The dining room follows the same soft palette colour scheme similar to that of the living room. The dining table has a white top with brown legs. The wooden legs in curved forms add a contemporary touch. The pendant lighting above the dining table gives it a distinct identity that feels polished and inviting.

The clients had ideas on what they needed in each of the spaces.

A Dining Designed to Impress

The dining area connects to the kitchen. To break the uniformity and to give a distinct visual, the kitchen was done in a blue theme. The contrast between the deep blue cabinetry and the white dining table creates a balanced warm composition. The blue cabinetry adds a modern aesthetic, while the light-themed upper cabinets maintain the sense of openness.

We have also integrated a built-in oven and microwave in the kitchen. This configuration helps the space be organised and visually uncluttered. The overall kitchen design shows how well integrated appliances, cabinets and layouts create a functional cooking environment.

A Relaxing Bedroom

The master bedroom is a soft, soothing space with a wardrobe that continues the design scheme. For a plush look, we added an upholstered headboard. To give the bed a defined presence, we extended portions of the headboard. Dominated by black and grey, the master bedroom sports a contemporary aesthetic. On the right side of the bedroom is the wardrobe and work table.

The second bedroom was designed for the kid. The room is contemporary, trendy and comfortable enough and can be transformed as they desire. The combination of soft upholstery and muted finishes gives the bedroom a composed appearance.
