Mr. Vikas Vishnu and Dr. Sajini Sasidharan, a lovely couple from Bangalore, approached us to furnish their home with a seamless balance of contemporary and minimalist art. The couple dreamed of their interiors radiating vibrant colours and sleek designs. A home to wash away the dust of stress in daily life and be in mindful bliss. Passionately designing a home for the couple with striking monochromatic colours, minimalism, and contemporary aesthetics were our priorities.
The first impression of the home interior strikes you when you take the first step inside the ambient interior, with comfortable seating welcoming you on a cyan blue plush sofa. The room is enhanced by curtains of denim blue texture to ensure serene lighting in the living room. Like walking in the sky, the floor has a grey cloud essence that naturally brightens your moods. The wall decor is done with boxy aluminium designs in harmony with the sky-blue walls, giving bliss to the eyes. Well organised placement of the table and sofa facing the television is pleasing; in fact, the artwork aligns with the comfort-filled vision of the couple.
The living room certainly brings life into the home with its positive, inspiring aesthetic designs.
The dining room, built on the couple’s vision and driven by D’LIFE Interiors’ passion, is a testament to contemporary and monochrome design. The tealish blue finds its complimentary partner in the wide, light blue walls. It’s a notable example of monochrome balance in colours and streamlines, evoking minimalism. The mirrors elongate the visual treat with the reflective beauty of the room. The floor is inspired by a stardust feeling, further accentuating the room’s vibrance. The lighting decor is a spotlight on the table, inviting happiness. A divine space with the dining area brings an aura of worship and mindfulness. Navy blue shelves for comfortable placement and access excel in accessibility and efficient spacing.
The kitchen is designed to balance efficiency and a clean look. The appliances have a mirage plush colour, which finds balance with the sky blue tones. The cabinets and storage spaces are perfected with details and good colour codes in multiple shades of blue. A hood and hob, along with good countertop spacing and accessible drawers, make this kitchen beyond perfect for the couple.
A room dedicated to your creativity and solo moments is a necessity. The Solo/Creative/Work/Gaming room is designed with dark brown walls enhanced by a streamlined design to appear elegant. The curtains over a sliding glass door open towards a beautiful view, and finally, a charcoal table that blends very well together for a computer gamer. A great highlight is the dynamically coloured coffee brown seating, which is a relaxing spot even for a good reading session. A Faded orange light for soothing moments is an example of how a small element can make a huge impact. A well-placed rug and cushion on the sand-brown floor complete the room’s colour scheme to its core.
When the couple saw the workstation design, they were in a state of awe.
One-third of our average lives are spent sleeping. Being a personal spot, the contemporary bedrooms are designed with precision. A popping lavender in bold texture balances well alongside complementary shades. The beds consist of bottom storage that guarantees clutter-free space. A bedside table is placed for easy access. Furnished with an exquisite finish, this bedroom proves itself to be luxurious.
Light shades of Magenta red ambience and streamlined wall designs invite minimalism to the room. A wall-side table, elegant lighting, and a mirror with seating fulfil the basic needs of a bedroom. Finally, the woodland-toned floor is a pleasure to the eyes.
The interior design journey with consistent insights into their dream home from Mr. Vikas Vishnu and Mrs. Sajini Sasidharan made for a seamless design process, resulting in exquisite home interiors. The couple is happy and mesmerised by the home built out of their vision and our craftsmanship. In conclusion, the designs achieved here are a symbol for pushing creative limits in contemporary design.
